Apprenticeship
The Apprenticeship is a program that involves classroom training in conjunction with on the job training. Millwrights 1163 offers a 4-year program, where the student attends classes at the training center for a minimum of 4 weeks at each level. While not in school, the apprentice has the opportunity to learn on the job, with a reduced salary of the journeyman rate, with the opportunity to receive periodic increases upon completion of each requirement.
